Synopsis: Living in medieval times, Lysistrata hopes to stop an upcoming Crusade battle that the men in her village seem dead set on. After hearing God’s voice, Lysistrata uses the bible (the very thing the men use to oppress the women) to get all of the women in her village to stop having sex. This comedy has a modern sensibility and can be performed by an all female-identifying/non-binary cast.
